Conference Board uses Disability Management Self Assessment Tool to tackle high cost of absenteeism in Canada

The Conference Board of Canada is in the process of a major research and education initiative on the impact of disability related workplace absences. In order to support this leading-edge initiative, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Conference Board of Canada and the National Institute of Disability Management and Research (NIDMAR). New Global Partnership in Return to Work

Steelworkers Support Better RTW Outcomes for Injured/Disabled Workers

The United Steelworkers have signed an agreement with the IDMSC to help workers and workplaces achieve better return to work outcomes for injured workers and workers with disabilities. ISSA and RI Sign Tripartite Agreement with IDMSC

Return to Work Conference in Malaysia Attracts Major Audience

The first Return to Work Conference hosted by the Social Security Organisation (SOCSO / PERKESO) of Malaysia, held July 26 and 27 in Kuala Lumpur was a resounding success with more than 1,200 attendees. One of the key themes of Malaysia’s Return to Work Program is “engaging stakeholders” and to that end, employers are encouraged to look at the abilities of workers and not their disabilities. IFDM 2010

IFDM 2010, the fifth International Forum on Disability Management, recently concluded in Los Angeles in September.
